With a variety of rhythm, rhyme, and reason, there exists a variety of jazz, blues, or world music for every taste.

It is possible to load your Ipod with jazz classics, hip hop blues, and the undulating music of Africa.

While jazz originated during the early 20th century in african american communities, it remains a uniquely american icon. Jazz represents a hybrid of african and european musical traditions. It is a form of art created, inspired and perfected by american culture, history and diversity.

There is definitely more Jazz openness today... I think the form stagnated a bit in the 80's, but is coming back with all kinds of new ideas and directions.
